Apprenticeship training

The Music-hall artist is a multiskilled artist specilized in the live performing arts. He or she offers a multidisciplinary artistic performance (including at least 2 disciplines) solo or within a group of artists. The Music-hall artist performs in front of an audience for diverse production companies and in multiple environments. The artist is able to work in Music-hall revues, performing arts creations, cabarets, young audience shows, prerecorded audiovisual shows, tv shows, events (festivals, shows for different structures in varied places, at individuals', etc.).


His or her music-hall performance is characterized by the following :

  • plurality, art mixes, styles et disciplines 

  • the relation and the interaction with the audience which is a key element of the artist's interpretation


The Music-hall artist can be directed by either a producer, a choreographer, an artistic director but he or she can also be their own stage manager.


There are two kinds of training options :

  • Dancer

  • Entertainer


Each formation has three core founding principles :

  • Interpretation (dance, singing and comedy)

  • Improvisation and stage creation

  • Professional managment

- Salary (41% to 61% of the minimum French wage)



The apprenticeship is hosted by CCI Le Mans Sarthe.

How to apply :

To apply for the 2016/2017 programme, please follow these steps :

Make sure your application is on point : It's the first step to the admission process.


STEP 2 - If you are selected, you will be sent a notification for the first audition which will take place in Paris or Nantes (France).


STEP 3 - If you pass the audition, you will be able to take the final audition which will take place in our institute, in Le Mans (France).
